This Friends Peace Team will lead us in an interactive event on Interfaith Nonviolent Actions that Works and share interfaith practices that have strengthened their work. They work with children, parents, teachers, and communities recovering from war, colonization, and violence in Indonesia and the Philippines, and support other peace and justice workers around the world. These Quaker, Catholic, Muslim, and Mennonite Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) facilitators walk the talk:

Petrus works on interfaith collaboration to reduce religious violence with teens, young adults, and adults.
Ruwaidah (Ida) works on interfaith, intercultural collaboration for the reduction of religious violence, working with youth.
Nanik runs a full inclusion, just, peaceful, regenerative preschool integrating AVP and permaculture.
Alma (Kins) Aparece supports emerging leadership in people’s movements and communities in war like Burma & W. Papua.
Nadine Hoover, a USA Quaker, author of Creating Cultures of Peace and editor of The Power of Goodness (CourageousGifts.com).
