Power of Goodness, Holei Roo Kids singing welcoming song
Since March 2022, we have started accepting several youths for the power Of Goodness apprenticeship. Previously they had the power Of Goodness since September 2021. Elmina Dori, Novita Waib, Biho Dote, Pince Dote, Beatriks Melani Yanteo, Ester Zuzethe Sokoy are teenagers who live in Holei Roo Orphanages due to poor parents and Samuel Alberto Kogoya is a neighbor Holei Roo Orphanage. They begin to practice stopping in their daily lives since they know the power Of Goodness.oG Holei Roo Kids
They also practice facilitating Stopping, Gathering, Reading Stories, Discussions, Reflecting on Principles, Refreshing and Closing.
They said, the beginning made it easier for them to feel self-conscious and insecure. But now they have gotten used to it and continue to train.
On June 8, 2022, they took part in the online self-empowerment training conducted by Peace Place Pati. After that, 12 friends in Sentani started to join us as a Team willing to work for Peace in Papua. There are 6 junior high school teenagers who live in the Holei Roo Orphanage, 1 teenager from Permata Sentani Christian Elementary School and 4 students from Burere Sentani College.
On June 20, 2022, Sint and I were invited to Peace Place Pati to take part in Regional Training and internship for 2 months.
Meanwhile, at the Holei Roo Orphanages, which has routinely carried out the Power Of Goodness since 2021, it is still being carried out by the team who live at the Holei Roo Orphanage.
They run the Power Of Goodness during the month of July with two hour sessions and an agenda that was put together before our departure. We believe that everyone is good and capable.
